(March 9, 2010) Today was a day of personal bests, - of "this was the best day of my entire life" (snowboarder Tony Ellis). We skied 35,000 vertical or deep champagne powder. Client comment today: Day 2: 15 or so heli drops under blue skies in the lightest, silkiest powder I have ever skied. One of the best days of my life, best ski day in 34 years of skiing. Pinch me. I can't believe what I just experienced and I have 3 more days...
(March 6, 2010) We are still having awesome days out there - from knee-deep powder in the am to long sunny corn runs in the afternoon. Snow is expected to start falling again tomorrow night and continue throughout the week. Folks are just loving the all- inclusive - coming down at the end of a trip with nothing extra to pay for. Just like we planned.
(Feb 27, 2010) 20 cms of fresh powder coated our mountains last night! The reset button just got pushed. Face shots here we come!
(Feb 23, 2010) Sorry for the lag in recent information. Been super busy with long days skiing in the Valhallas! Big blue bird days and big vert too. I'll post some pics soon! Snow arriving tomorrow - yeehaw!
(Feb 16, 2010) Been snowing all day - gigantic fluffy powder flakes. Helicopter and snowcat today. Next three days are slated to be bluebird and we're off to the Valhallas for some heli-skiing and heli-riding.
(Feb 14, 2010) HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! Still dumping up at the lodge, but we can see to heli ski. Fresh crab tonight! Life is good.
(Feb 13, 2010) Bluebird, 20 cms of fresh, and keen legs. Doesn't get much better than this.
(Feb 12, 2010) Opening day of the Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler, BC today. Meanwhile in the Kootenays, we got over 10 cms of fresh over night, while it continued to snow all day. Snowcat back up was used from time to time between heli runs, but guest reports stated: 'the lightest, fluffiest snow I've ever experienced in my life!".
(Feb 11, 2010) Ahhhh. Helicopter skiing in BC, Canada. Life is good. Final day of trip and we shredded some awesome lines today. The hot tub, strawberry basil martinis, and light snowfall in the evening was a perfect end to the day. Still snowing - it will be another great day tomorrow.

(Feb 10, 2010) Day 3 of this heli ski and heli board trip at Snowwater, and we are killing it. Steep chutes and lines, and deep silky pow. Skied tons of vertical today. Hot tub, massages and gourmet filet mignon to follow this evening.
(Feb 9, 2010) Heli skied and boarded today in the Valhalla Mountains. The powder was unreal! Up to 25cm of low density white gold - endless untracked for everyone. Stellar day...and it's snowing again!

(Jan 13, 2010) 30 cms of new snow!! The new snow has effictively pushed the RESET button and everything is blanketed in new deep powder. Bring your fat skis and long boards - you'll need them! Heli Skiing is back on!
